Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounting team in managing all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information
  • Oversee the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic business decisions
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, optimizing tax strategies for the organization
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Preferred:

  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with international accounting standards
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment

Desired Candidate Profile

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
  • Proven track record of managing financial audits and tax compliance
