Roles & Responsibilities

Core responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise the drilling crew to ensure all tasks are performed efficiently, safely,

and according to established procedures.

• Oversee the entire drilling process, from site preparation to well completion, including shallow

and deep wells, to meet project goals and timelines.

• Act as a safety leader, ensuring the crew follows all safety protocols and maintaining a high

standard of safety at the rig site.

• Ensure the proper functioning of all drilling equipment, including maintenance, repair, and

troubleshooting.

• Monitor drilling parameters, manage well control, and oversee the installation of casing and

other components.

• Coordinate material procurement and mobilization to the site, and manage the logistics of the

project to ensure timely completion.

• Maintain detailed records of drilling conditions, parameters, and progress.

Required skills and qualifications

• Diploma with minimum 10 years of experience.

• Extensive experience in drilling operations, with knowledge of various drilling rigs and

techniques.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a crew and interact with other

stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of drilling equipment and its maintenance.

• Ability to operate under physically demanding conditions and in various weather conditions.

• Proficiency in safety procedures and regulations.
