Roles & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for leading the overall strategy, growth, and operational performance of the organization, with a strong focus on driving revenue, delivery excellence, and market leadership across cloud services, digital security, and risk-based transformation programs. The role holds full accountability for business outcomes, including revenue growth, profitability, client success, and execution of complex transformation projects, while leveraging shared corporate services within the group structure.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Strategy, Growth and Market Leadership
- Define and drive the overall business strategy with a focus on cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation services.
- Identify and expand into priority sectors such as government, healthcare, energy, telecom, and critical infrastructure.
- Establish the organization as a leading provider of secure digital and cloud solutions in Oman and regional markets.
- Build strategic partnerships with global technology providers and ecosystem players.
Sales Leadership and Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth through strong oversight of enterprise sales, key account management, and strategic deals.
- Lead development of go-to-market strategies for cloud, managed security, and risk based solutions.
- Ensure alignment of sales strategy with national digital transformation priorities and client needs.
- Drive closure of large and complex deals, including government and multi-year contracts.
Project Delivery, Operations and Service Excellence
- Ensure successful delivery of complex digital transformation and cybersecurity projects across sectors.
- Establish program governance, delivery frameworks, and service quality to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational excellence across cloud services, managed security operations, and risk management solutions.
- Ensure integration between sales, delivery, and customer success for seamless execution.
Technology, Innovation and Risk Management
- Develop and guide technology strategy across cloud platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), cybersecurity, and digital solutions.
- Ensure strong cybersecurity posture, risk management frameworks, and compliance with national and international standards.
- Promote innovation in areas such as threat intelligence, digital risk, and emerging technologies.
- Oversee development and deployment of solutions that enhance resilience, data protection, and business continuity.
Governance, Financial Performance and Stakeholder Management
- Drive financial performance including revenue growth, profitability, and cost discipline.
- Operate within group governance frameworks, leveraging shared corporate services effectively.
- Collaborate with group functions (HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement) to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Engage with the Board/group leadership on performance, strategy, and risk.
- Represent the organization in strategic forums, strengthening relationships with government and key stakeholders.
Leadership & people management
- Lead, coach, and manage the performance of the senior management members.
- Oversees talent development, career growth, and succession planning to ensure DTM retains and nurtures its key people.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performance organisational culture aligned with board's expectations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the satellite communications, telecom, or ICT solutions sector, with at least 5 years in a senior executive or CEO-level role.
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi vertical organisations and delivering sustained commercial growth and profitability.
- Experience in managing government and enterprise clients, preferably in the GCC region.
- Strong exposure to digital transformation programs, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud ecosystems.
