Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversees all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strategy: Helps define the company's financial vision and provides data-driven insights to guide its future, Work closely with the CEO and other executives to provide financial leadership, support strategic planning, and identify opportunities for growth and investment.
- Risk Management: Identifies and manages financial risks to ensure the company's stability, ensure internal controls are effective, and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Capital Allocation: Decides how to allocate funds for business growth, such as through investments or acquisitions, or how to return capital to shareholders.
- Advisory: Acting as a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), providing financial insight for major business decisions.
- Corporate finance: Manage relationships with external financial partners, secure funding, and oversee mergers, acquisitions, and other capital-raising activities.
- Reporting and analysis: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and report on financial status to stakeholders
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, CPA or MBA or other professional certifications is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage a team and present complex information clearly to non-financial audiences.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced skills in data analysis and forecasting.
- A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify risks, and develop strategic solutions.
