Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the overall management of the company's finances, ensuring financial health, operational efficiency and compliance with regulations.

This role also oversees the purchasing department to ensure that all acquisitions necessary for the group's operations are carried out effectively and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the group's objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, analysis and budget preparation.
  • Monitor financial performance through the analysis of reports and financial statements.
  • Managing the company's treasury, liquidity management and investments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax and legal regulations.

2. Control and Financial Reporting:

  • Generate and present detailed financial reports to senior management and the group.
  • Ensure that all accounting and financial information is prepared on time so that the reports of the control department are up to date, and supervise their reliability once received.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with standards.

3. Purchasing Management:

  • Supervise the purchasing department, ensuring that all acquisitions are efficient, economical and compliant with company policies.
  • evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage relationships with them to optimize costs and ensure a continuous supply of goods and services necessary for operations.
  • Implement and monitor purchasing policies, ensuring transparency and efficiency.

4. Regulatory Compliance and Internal Control:

  • To ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations at the local and international level.
  • Develop and maintain adequate internal controls to protect company assets and minimize risks.

Desired Candidate Profile

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; MBA or postgraduate degree is desirable.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administration and finance.
  • Analytical, leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Capacity to manage a dual hierarchical and functional dependency.
  • Mastery of financial tools and software (e.g., ERP, advanced Excel).
