Roles & Responsibilities

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of nursing services across several hospitals, clinics, and care facilities within the health system.

This role ensures that nursing practice meets the highest standards of quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of clinical excellence, compassion, and innovation.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen. Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, workforce management, and regulatory compliance. Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation, and compliance requirements. Ability to lead changes in complex healthcare environments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Master s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Nursing Administration is required ; Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or related doctorate is a plus.

Current, active nursing license (registered in relevant jurisdiction)

Minimum 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role ideally overseeing multi-facility/multi-hospitals in a CNO role.

Demonstrated success in leading large nursing teams in acute care settings.

Experience with quality improvement, patient safety, and accreditation processes .

Proven ability to lead changes in complex healthcare systems.

Commitment to patient-centered care and nursing excellence.
