Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the stewarding department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the dishwashing and sanitation processes.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning and sanitation protocols in compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of all kitchen equipment, china, glassware, and silverware, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing loss.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor stewarding staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and professional development.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is a must, culinary school diploma or related field is a plus.
  • Possess certifications in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe) to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stewarding or a related kitchen management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant environment is highly preferred.
