Roles & Responsibilities

Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) is responsible for leading enterprise-wide changes, focusing on digital adoption, process modernization, and cultural shifts to improve efficiency and competitiveness. This role is vital for navigating the rapidly evolving financial landscape in Jordan, acting as a bridge between strategic vision and practical execution, usually reporting directly to the CEO .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Transformation Roadmap : Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy aligned with the bank s goals, such as modernizing core banking systems, implementing ERP, and improving customer experience.
  • Digital Transformation : Lead digital initiatives, including the integration of Fintech solutions, development of mobile/online banking channels, and AI monetization programs.
  • Program & Project Management : Oversee the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to track projects, manage dependencies, and ensure ROI-focused delivery of initiatives across retail, corporate, and IT departments.
  • Change Management & Culture : Champion change management practices to foster a culture of innovation, agility, and customer-centricity, facilitating user adoption of new systems and behaviors.
  • Governance & Performance : Establish KPIs to measure the impact of transformation projects, reporting progress to executive leadership and boards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all digital transformation initiatives comply with regulations set by the Central Bank of Jordan.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience : Typically, 10-15+ years of experience in strategic transformation, consulting, or change leadership, with a strong preference for background in the banking or financial services sector.

Technical Understanding : Deep knowledge of digital trends, data analytics, AI, and IT systems (e.g., cloud computing, API-driven architecture).

Leadership: Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and act as a change agent.

Education : Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field. Certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Change Management (e.g., Prosci) are highly advantageous.
