Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair chillers (centrifugal, screw, or absorption type) and related HVAC equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, and control systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in chillers and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor chiller plant performance and maintain log sheets, temperature, and pressure readings.
  • Ensure proper functioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alarms.
  • Support energy optimization initiatives by monitoring and improving chiller efficiency.
  • Follow safety procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements.
  • Maintain records of spare parts usage, maintenance schedules, and equipment history.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in chiller plant operation & maintenance (preferably in airports, commercial complexes, or large facilities).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and BMS integration
