Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Translate written content, app interfaces, and user communications from Chinese to Arabic and vice versa with high accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure consistent and effective multilingual communication.
- Review and proofread translations to maintain quality, tone, and context appropriate for the target audience.
- Assist in localizing app features, notifications, and promotional materials for Arabic-speaking users.
- Interpret live conversations or chat sessions between Chinese and Arabic speakers as needed.
- Maintain and update translation glossaries, style guides, and terminology databases.
- Identify and resolve linguistic or cultural issues in translated materials.
- Support the development of language resources and training materials for internal teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of translation projects while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Stay informed about language trends, regional dialects, and evolving terminology relevant to both Chinese and Arabic audiences.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience in translation or interpretation between Chinese and Arabic.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate translations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, online environment.
- Familiarity with digital platforms, social apps, or technology products.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to nuances in both Chinese and Arabic-speaking communities.
- Proficiency in using translation tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
