Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with UAE laws and IFRS standards.

  • Manage accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

  • Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate postings.

  • Support internal and external audits.

  • Ensure full compliance with VAT regulations; prepare and submit VAT returns.

  • Monitor and control company expenses in line with budgets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.

  • Assist in payroll processing and expense reimbursements.

  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and UAE financial regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

  • 3–5 years of accounting experience in Dubai/UAE (mandatory).

  • Fluency in Chinese & English is required.

  • Currently based in the UAE.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and IFRS.

  • Proficiency in accounting software: SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks, and MS Office.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.

  • Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
