Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Masterfully operate and maintain a diverse range of camera equipment, including advanced digital cinema cameras, lenses, and specialized rigs, to capture stunning visuals.
  • Expertly manage lighting setups, utilizing various techniques and equipment to create the desired mood, atmosphere, and visual impact for each scene.
  • Oversee the entire production workflow, from pre-production planning and location scouting to on-set execution and post-production collaboration, to ensure a seamless process.
  • Develop and execute creative shot compositions, framing, and camera movements that enhance storytelling and engage the audience.
  • Make critical decisions regarding camera angles, focal lengths, and depth of field to emphasize key elements and guide viewer attention.
  • Analyze and evaluate footage during production to maintain visual consistency, identify potential issues, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with post-production teams to oversee color grading, visual effects, and final image refinement, ensuring the director's vision is realized.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative techniques to continually enhance skills and creative capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds relevant certifications in cinematography and camera operation, demonstrating commitment to professional standards and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the film or video industry, showcasing a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of cinematography principles, including composition, lighting, and camera movement, to create visually captivating content.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining professional-grade camera equipment, including digital cinema cameras, lenses, and accessories.
  • Exhibits strong technical skills in lighting techniques, including the use of various lighting equipment and setups to achieve desired effects.
  • Possesses excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and the capacity to work under pressure, ensuring projects are completed efficiently.
  • Exhibits a creative vision, artistic flair, and a keen eye for detail, enabling the creation of visually stunning and compelling content.
  • Exhibits physical stamina, including the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, and work long hours on set, ensuring project completion.
