Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for wet utility systems including potable water supply networks, foul sewerage and pumping mains, and stormwater drainage systems.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for wet utility infrastructure modelling and design development.
• Ensure models meet project-specific Level of Development (LOD) requirements at all design stages.
• Model pipe networks, manholes, chambers, pump stations, and attenuation features with accurate invert and cover levels.
• Coordinate wet utility layouts with dry utility, road, landscape and MEP models to ensure clash-free design.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Autodesk Navisworks.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Architecture, Structures, MEP, roads, landscape, Dry) to resolve conflicts between utilities, roads, dry and other disciplines.
• Participate in coordination meetings and model reviews.
• Ensure adherence to BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and project-specific protocols.
• Apply correct naming conventions, layering, and file structures across all model files.
• Align models with Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi authority and UAE requirements etc.
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all models.
• Generate utility layout plans, pipe profiles, manhole schedules, and drainage catchment plans from BIM models.
• Prepare wet utility coordination drawings for submission to relevant authorities.
• Extract 2D drawings, plans, profiles, and cross-sections from BIM models.
• Support quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for infrastructure works.
• Prepare and update as-built models for project closeout.
• Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure version control and proper coordination across multiple project files.
• Support digital workflows within the Design 360 Studio.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Navisworks.
• Experience in wet utility coordination including water supply, sewerage, and stormwater drainage systems.
• Understanding of authorities desgn standards and submission requirements for water and drainage infrastructure.
• Ability to develop and manage pipe network models with accurate hydraulic design input.
• Clash detection and resolution across multi-discipline models.
• Familiarity with BIM collaboration platforms (BIM 360, ACC) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
