Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare civil drawings such as GA/layouts, details, sections, elevations, and site plans using AutoCAD (and Civil 3D where applicable).

  • Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings, incorporating site changes and engineer/consultant comments.

  • Coordinate drawings with architectural/structural/MEP disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure constructability.

  • Maintain proper revision control, drawing registers, and document archiving.

  • Support engineers with drawing modifications, RFIs, and site clarifications.

  • Conduct site visits to gather necessary measurements and assess project requirements for effective drafting.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, ensuring a solid foundation in design principles.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in civil drafting, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools is essential for efficient drafting and design work.
  • Certification in relevant drafting courses or software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is highly regarded.
