Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, execution, and commissioning of civil and structural works for various construction projects (both site and office-based tasks).
  • Develop detailed civil and structural drawings, specifications, and designs, ensuring alignment with the project scope, building codes, and local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DDA, etc.).
  • Supervise on-site civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to construction codes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures on-site.
  • Review and approve construction materials, ensuring they meet project and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities for timely inspections and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records of site inspections, tests, and progress reports.
  • Assist in preparing work schedules, monitor project timelines, and report progress to management.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve structural or site-related issues during construction.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and project stakeholders regarding project status and technical matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in high-rise building construction in the UAE.
  • A total of 5+ years of overall experience in civil engineering.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and execution.
  • Strong technical capabilities and familiarity with construction industry software/tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
