Civil Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Discussing requirements with the client and other professionals (e.g architects).
Analysing survey, mapping and materials-testing data with computer modelling software.
Judging whether projects are workable by assessing materials, costs and time requirements.
Assessing the environmental impact and risks connected to projects.
Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project.
Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.
Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess the potential impact of projects.


Requirements:

Bachelor degree in civil engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in communication and security business.
Excellent technical knowledge.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good teamworking skills.
The ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
A high level of computer literacy, particularly computer-aided design.
Good commercial awareness.
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
