Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to Qatar’s construction standards and regulatory requirements

  • Coordinate effectively among contractors from various disciplines to maintain workflow and resolve conflicts related to civil, MEP, and electrical domains.

  • Follow up on design-related issues and ensure timely resolution in coordination with design teams

  • Supervise civil contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, progress, and compliance with project specifications

  • Issue formal notices regarding delays and respond professionally to communications from and to contractors

  • Review and assess material submittals, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure suitability and compliance

  • Prepare and submit all required site documentation to Consultant and Client in accordance with project protocols

  • Monitor construction progress, quality standards, and safety measures rigorously

  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and achievement of project milestones

  • Demonstrate flexibility to work under pressure and extended hours when required

  • Exhibit a high level of dedication, responsibility, and professionalism in all aspects of site management

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering results

  • Excellence in project execution and management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, including at least 8 years on substation projects.

  • Oversee and manage one or more construction sites with full accountability

  • Plan and execute construction of substation developments
