Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Civil Engineer to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and building projects in Dubai. The candidate should bring extensive UAE experience in civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards. This senior role requires strong leadership, project management, and technical oversight skills, combined with the ability to deliver results within deadlines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise large-scale construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Oversee daily site activities, ensuring compliance with approved specifications, drawings, safety, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site audits and progress evaluations; ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Review and validate engineering designs, drawings, and material submissions in coordination with consultants and clients.
  • Lead QA/QC processes and risk assessments, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports, project schedules, BOQs, and cost estimates.

  • Train and mentor junior engineers and site staff to maintain high engineering practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees and other regulatory authorities

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Valid UAE Society of Engineers Membership
  • Dubai Municipality Engineer’s License (mandatory).
  • Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
  • Minimum 15–20 years of experience in UAE-based civil, infrastructure, or contracting projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and project management tools (Primavera or MS Project preferred).
  • Strong understanding of local authority requirements, safety codes, and quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and leadership abilities.
  • Trakhees, RTA, or other authority approvals will be an advantage
