Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations while considering environmental impact.
  • Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines and budgets, to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor construction progress and compliance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve design issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Utilize advanced software tools for modeling and simulation to predict structural performance under various conditions.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with construction projects, identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the quality control process during construction, ensuring materials and workmanship meet the required standards.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders, detailing project progress, findings, and recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and ethics.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering, with hands-on involvement in construction projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard design software to create and modify engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex engineering problems and develop effective, innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with diverse teams and present ideas clearly.
  • Proven project management experience, showcasing the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in designs and adherence to regulatory requirements.
