Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction and fit-out projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with local regulations and quality standards.


This role requires strong coordination across multiple departments, including design, procurement, operations, and contractors.


  • Manage and supervise all civil engineering aspects of construction and fit-out projects

  • Review and validate architectural and structural drawings prior to execution

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow

  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, including authority approvals and safety standards

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout all project phases

  • Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates

  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively

  • Support procurement by reviewing BOQs, specifications, and contractor quotations


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction and/or fit-out projects in the UAE

  • Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations and approval processes

  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial projects (F&B, retail, or hospitality is a plus)

  • Familiarity with MEP coordination and integrated project delivery

  • PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage
