Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and analyze civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project feasibility and compliance with design specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and urban planners, to integrate civil engineering solutions into larger projects.
Utilize advanced software tools for modeling, simulation, and project management to optimize design efficiency.
Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders, clearly articulating design concepts and project benefits.
Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues.
Must have a valid driving license and own a car
Able to travel between the emirates to execute and supervise projects
Experience in contracting, roadworks, and infrastructure projects
Ambitious, passionate, and highly dedicated professional
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to innovate and improve civil engineering practices.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable, demonstrating commitment to the highest engineering standards.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering projects, showcasing progressive responsibility and technical expertise.
Experience in specific industries such as transportation, water resources, or structural engineering is preferred.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations to ensure compliance throughout project phases.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and SAP2000 is essential for effective design and analysis.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling the identification and resolution of complex engineering challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in teams, showcasing leadership qualities and a commitment to achieving common goals.
Physical ability to conduct on-site inspections and navigate construction environments safely.
