Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for a 3-month secondment to support site upgrade and repurposing works (small warehouses / dark store logistics centers) across the UAE.

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site civil and structural works with contractors and authorities.
  • Review civil/structural drawings, shop drawings, and method statements for compliance with UAE codes and HSE requirements.
  • Oversee concrete, steel, and finishing works, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Monitor site progress, manage snagging/rectification works, and ensure proper documentation for handover.
  • Coordinate closely with MEP, fit-out, and architectural teams to align civil works with overall project requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years’ UAE site experience in civil/structural works, with authority processes.
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (attested).
  • Strong English; Arabic preferred.
  • Immediate availability (≤ 2 weeks).
  • Preference for candidates already on valid UAE visa/sponsorship (not a stopper if visa is required).
