Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
- Interpret and execute construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment required for the work.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain daily progress reports, labor attendance, and material usage records.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers for planning and execution.
- Handle minor site issues and provide quick solutions to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with workers.
- Ensure all site work is done according to design and within timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma / ITI / Certification in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
