Design and planning: Conceptualize and design infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and water systems.

Site investigation: Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and site investigations to evaluate project viability.

Documentation: Prepare engineering reports, project specifications, and construction documents.

Risk and budget management: Perform risk assessments, create cost estimates, and manage project budgets and schedules.

Construction oversight: Supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with plans and regulations.

Compliance and permits: Ensure projects comply with all relevant government regulations and secure necessary permits.

Maintenance: Oversee the repair, maintenance, and replacement of existing infrastructure.

Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders, including other engineers, architects, contractors, and government agencies.

Proficiency in design software.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.

Strong understanding of mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

Ability to perform site surveying and interpret construction drawings.

Knowledge of geotechnical and topographic surveys.

Familiarity with environmental and government standards and regulations.
