Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and inspect civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards, specifically within oil and gas facilities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of concrete works, including foundations, slabs, and structures, verifying dimensions, reinforcement, and quality to prevent structural issues.
  • Monitor earthworks, excavation, and backfilling operations, guaranteeing proper compaction, material selection, and compliance with geotechnical recommendations.
  • Inspect the installation of pipelines, tanks, and other civil infrastructure components, confirming alignment, welding quality, and adherence to safety regulations and codes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, API certifications, or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in specific areas.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil inspection, with a focus on oil and gas projects, showcasing practical knowledge.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations, including those specific to the oil and gas sector.
