Civil/MEP Draftsman

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Civil/MEP Draftsman to support our engineering and construction projects across Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil drawings that align with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D/3D MEP drawings, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection and Civil layouts.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and site teams to understand project scope and technical requirements.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, change requests, or RFI responses.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project guidelines.
• Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings using AutoCAD or Revit (preferred).
• Prepare Architectural and Structural drawings.
• Maintain organized drawing logs and documentation for submission and approval.
• Attend technical meetings to support design clarification and coordination.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and design feasibility.

Knowledge, Experience, and Special Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
