Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

What you will need to do:

  • Reports to the Project QC Manager.
  • Reviews specifications, drawings, and BOQ to define quality standards for Civil works.
  • Assists in preparing quality documents (ITPs) and ensures compliance with project requirements
  • Monitors all phases of Civil works (design, procurement, construction, handover).
  • Ensures implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans and follow up generated records.
  • Oversees inspection and testing activities and supervises QC Inspectors.
  • Coordinates with third-party inspection/testing entities.
  • Ensures calibration and proper use of measuring and testing equipment and follow up related documents.
  • Performs analysis and evaluation of test results.
  • Identifies non-conformities, raises NCRs, and follows up on corrective actions.
  • Supports internal and external audits (including subcontractors and suppliers).
  • Attends client inspections and ensures closure of related issues.
  • Monitor close-out of project punch list & final documentation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in civil engineering from reputed and recognized University
  • Minimum 8 years experience as QC engineer
  • Experience in site Geotechnical Works (Piles, Diaphragm Walls, etc.) and site Civil Works.
  • Good Knowledge of Standards related to civil and geotechnical works
  • Good Knowledge of Quality Management systems based on ISO 9001 Standards
  • Fluent English writing & speaking
