Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of all MEP systems on site, ensuring adherence to design specifications and local regulations, guaranteeing quality and safety from start to finish.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall site design, preventing clashes and optimizing functionality.
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material selections, ensuring they comply with project requirements and industry standards, maintaining project integrity.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks of MEP installations, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies, and preventing delays.
- Manage and coordinate MEP contractors, providing technical guidance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely completion of work within budget constraints, fostering collaboration.
- Prepare and maintain detailed progress reports, documenting site activities, tracking changes, and providing updates to project managers and clients, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex MEP system issues, employing problem-solving skills and technical expertise to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance, ensuring functionality.
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with relevant safety regulations and environmental standards, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing environmental impact, prioritizing safety.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise, contributing to problem-solving, and offering innovative solutions to improve project outcomes, contributing expertise.
- Stay updated on the latest MEP technologies, codes, and best practices, continuously improving knowledge and skills to enhance project delivery and efficiency, embracing innovation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
- Holds a Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards.
- Experienced in the construction industry, with a focus on site development projects, understanding the realities of construction.
- Nationality open to all nationalities, fostering diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication with international teams.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software, demonstrating technical skills in design and documentation.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling effective issue resolution and decision-making.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration and effective communication.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines, showcasing the ability to manage time effectively.
