Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a qualified and experienced Foundation Stage or Primary Class Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year, aligned with our mission of Enriching Exploring Excelling and our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to supporting students academic, social, and emotional development within a nurturing, culturally grounded British-curriculum environment that recognises each child s individuality and encourages confidence, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Education (or equivalent) with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably within an international British-curriculum context.

Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate an engaging, student-centred learning environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and confidence.

Strong working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and evidence-based pedagogical approaches that support high levels of student progress and attainment.

Skilled in proactive, positive classroom management that promotes respect, responsibility, and a culture of learning.

Proven capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues, leadership, students, and families as valued partners in the learning journey.


Job Description:

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with National Curriculum objectives, ensuring clear learning outcomes and student progress.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, well-organised learning environment that promotes engagement, independence, and respect.

Assess, monitor, and record student achievement using formative and summative methods, providing timely feedback and intervention when required.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, adhering to school policies and safeguarding expectations.

Communicate clearly and regularly with parents/guardians to support academic progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues and leadership in planning, moderation, and whole-school initiatives.

Promote students social-emotional development and model the school s core values in daily interactions.

Understanding of inclusive practice and ability to support a range of learning needs.

Attend weekly CPD sessions and contribute to ongoing professional learning, reflection, and school improvement.

Ability to contribute to enrichment or co-curricular activities.
