Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Cloud and DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support EdfaPay s fintech platforms. You ll collaborate closely with developers, security, and product teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on Alibaba Cloud (preferred), OCI, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ensuring smooth code integration and deployment.
  • Leverage Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate microservices-based applications.
  • Manage and monitor Linux servers, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows and optimize system operations.
  • Proactively monitor infrastructure and application performance, identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and ensure configurations follow security and compliance standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering roles.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, with experience on Alibaba Cloud, OCI, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application management.
  • Advanced Linux server administration skills.
  • Solid grasp of networking, DNS, firewalls, and cloud security best practices.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a self-driven, collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
  • Exposure to Agile development practices and DevOps culture.
  • Relevant cloud certifications are a plus:
  • Alibaba Cloud Certified Professional
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect
