About the Role

On behalf of an innovative SaaS company, we are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain a secure, scalable cloud-native infrastructure.

This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about automation, performance optimization, and building resilient systems that support high-availability SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Design multi-environment setups (development, staging, production) with proper isolation and governance
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) to automate provisioning
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads for high-traffic SaaS applications
• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and rapid releases
• Implement blue-green deployments and rolling updates to minimize downtime
• Monitor system health, performance, and uptime using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure rapid incident response and resolution
• Optimize cloud costs and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency
• Implement security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and network segmentation
• Ensure compliance with data protection and regional regulations (e.g., GDPR)
• Design backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and high-availability architectures
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and scalability
• Support performance testing and infrastructure load optimization
• Document infrastructure processes, architecture diagrams, and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps and platform engineering standards
