About The Role

The Cluster Commercial Director is the strategic commercial leader responsible for driving the revenue and profitability performance of One&Only One Za abeel and SIRO One Za abeel. This role integrates and oversees all Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Reservations functions, ensuring alignment under a unified commercial strategy. The CCD will shape a forward-looking strategy, strengthen the hotels market positioning, drive direct revenue contribution, and build long-term value for both properties. This role requires an entrepreneurial, analytical, and luxury-experienced leader capable of influencing multiple stakeholders, balancing owner expectations, and delivering competitive outperformance across all channels.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop, execute, and continuously evolve the cluster s annual commercial plan and long-term business strategy.
  • Align commercial objectives with brand vision and ownership priorities to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Conduct ongoing market intelligence studies and competitor benchmarking, translating insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Represent the cluster at corporate and ownership forums, presenting performance updates, forecasts, and market outlook.

Revenue Optimization

  • Lead all pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies across segments (Rooms, Groups, Catering, Residences, Wellness, and ancillary revenues).
  • Optimize RevPAR, TRevPAR, GOPPAR, and market penetration indexes (MPI, ARI, RGI).
  • Champion dynamic pricing, upsell programs, and cross-selling initiatives across both properties.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity and performance across all distribution systems, OTAs, and GDS platforms.

Sales & Account Management

  • Direct all sales activities to secure profitable business across corporate, leisure, MICE, and luxury consortia segments.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with top global accounts, travel advisors, and key intermediaries.
  • Drive the development of long-stay residential agreements and wellness-driven business models.
  • Ensure group, catering, and events sales strategies maximize space utilization and contribution margins.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Lead the creation and implementation of the annual marketing plan, ensuring global visibility and brand alignment.
  • Oversee digital marketing, CRM, loyalty, partnerships, PR, and content strategies to enhance direct acquisition and engagement.
  • Position OOOZ and SIRO OZ as iconic, differentiated brands in the global luxury urban and wellness segments.
  • Manage marketing budgets with a clear focus on ROI and measurable outcomes.

E-Commerce & Distribution

  • Enhance direct booking performance and reduce reliance on high-cost intermediaries.
  • Ensure both hotels maintain best-in-class digital presence, optimized websites, and conversion-focused content.
  • Partner with corporate offices on CRM, loyalty integration, and emerging distribution technology.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a diverse, high-performing commercial team across both hotels.
  • Foster collaboration with Operations, F&B, Spa & Wellness, and Finance to ensure alignment on guest journey and profitability.
  • Build a talent pipeline, succession planning, and future leaders within the commercial disciplines.

About You

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 5-10 years of commercial leadership experience, with at least 3 5 years as Director of Sales & Marketing or Commercial Head at a luxury or ultra-luxury property (cluster or large-scale preferred).
  • Proven track record in opening or repositioning luxury properties is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Dubai and international luxury travel markets.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Hospitality Management (MBA preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise in data-driven decision making, revenue optimization, and contract negotiation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Opera PMS, Salesforce, IDEAS/Revenue Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required, additional languages an asset.
