Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision rubber and plastic components according to technical specifications.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements and sequence of operations.
Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to maintain tight tolerances and achieve desired product specifications.
Document production data, machine settings, and quality control results accurately for traceability and process improvement.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and optimize machining processes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or material inconsistencies to supervisors promptly.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
5 to 7 years of proven experience as a CNC Operator Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge of CNC machine operation, setup, and programming for rubber and plastic components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise parts.
Familiarity with various measuring tools and inspection equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required by production demands.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
