Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Setting up and operating CNC lathes, as well as recognizing and rectifying faults

· Checking dimensions based on drawings

· Working with the Siemens 840 C/D & Heidenhain TNT 530 control systems

· Making slight program changes

Maintenance and care of the machines

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational understanding of technical concepts.
  • Holds a recognized CNC machining certification or apprenticeship completion, demonstrating a commitment to the trade.
  • Exhibits a minimum of 2 years of proven industry experience, showcasing practical expertise in CNC horizontal turning.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring accurate part fabrication.
  • Displays a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and cutting parameters optimization.
  • Exhibits strong technical and hard skills, including programming and operating CNC machines, along with precision measurement.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, enabling quick and effective resolutions to machine issues.
  • Exhibits strong communication and teamwork skills, fostering collaboration and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a secure and hazard-free workplace.
  • Nationality preference: Open to all nationalities. Language requirements: English proficiency is mandatory and German is a plus.
