Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Experienced CNC Engineer with 3 years of hands-on experience in the furniture manufacturing industry, specializing in CNC machining for wood-based products such as kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture. Skilled in operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure high precision, quality, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program CNC machines (routers, drilling, cutting, and nesting machines) for furniture components.
- Prepare and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software according to production drawings and design specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists.
- Set up machines, tools, and materials to ensure accurate machining and minimal waste.
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machines.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to meet project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Optimize cutting patterns to reduce material waste and production time.
- Assist in improving production workflows and CNC processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: 3 Years
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a CNC engineer in furniture manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of CNC routers and woodworking machinery.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (such as AutoCAD, Alphacam, WoodWOP, or similar).
- Good understanding of wood materials, MDF, plywood, and laminates.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
