The CNC Machine Operator is vital in the manufacturing sector, responsible for managing and running CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment. This role involves controlling automated processes in various manufacturing industries to produce precision pieces and parts. You will need to program, set up, and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling. Your expertise will ensure the impeccable performance of CNC machines in producing high-quality parts. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can interpret blueprints, manage complex machinery, and ensure all operations comply with safety standards. Being part of a fast-paced environment, the CNC Machine Operator must also be able to swiftly identify and address any issues arising during the production process.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to complete precise tasks.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical instructions.
• Ensure machines are operating efficiently by conducting routine checks.
• Adjust machine settings to create pieces according to specifications.
• Inspect and measure completed products to verify conformance to standards.

• Monitor the machine s performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Document production and machine maintenance logs accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to optimize workflow and processes.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Communicate effectively with the production team regarding progress and challenges.
• Stay updated with the latest technology and advancements in CNC machinery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced training in CNC operations preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with CNC machinery in manufacturing.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols related to machine operations.
