Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate 3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis CNC routers for 3D machining, carving, and profiling tasks.

Load and run CNC programs generated from CAD/CAM software.

Read and understand CNC programs, tool paths, and setup sheets.

Verify program parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, depth of cut, and tool selection.

Ensure finished components meet dimensional tolerances, 3D geometry, and surface finish requirements.

Match output to approved samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings.

Work with materials including MDF, plywood, solid timber, laminated boards, veneered panels, and composite materials.

Inspect materials for defects, thickness, and suitability before machining.

Perform daily machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.

Check spindle condition, vacuum systems, dust extraction, and tool holders.

Follow all health and safety procedures related to CNC machine operation.

Use appropriate PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks.

Desired Candidate Profile

Highschool Graduate or Vocational Training in CNC machining, Woodworking or Manufacturing Technology.

  • Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and 3D machining processes.
  • Ability to interpret CAD/CAM files, tool paths, and technical drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC programming adjustments (G-code awareness is an advantage).
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC routers and 3D carving is an advantage.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Not more than 45 years old.
