CNC Manual Lathe Machine Operator - Senior / Team Leader

A great machine operator must be able to efficiently operate some of the machines from the following list: grinding machines, shape forming machines, drilling machines, automatic stones slicing machines, manual stones sawing machines, milling machine and CNC lathe machine.
The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities & Duties

· Operate and control a range of machines, including but not limited to grinding machines, shape forming machines, automatic stones slicing machines, manual stones sewing machines, and manual milling machines.
· Set up machines according to the specifications of each job and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
· Load and unload material into machines and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
· Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or abnormalities and make necessary adjustments or investments to maintain quality and efficiency.
· Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machines to ensure their proper functioning.
· Collaborate with the production team to prioritize jobs and meet production schedules effectively.
· Assist in the training and cross-training of other machine operators to ensure flexibility and interchangeability across multiple machines.
· Responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards set by the company.
· check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products for a company, as well as the production procedures.
· Operate and maintain various testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers to measure and assess product characteristics.
· Detect and identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities in products, and communicate these issues to the appropriate teams for corrective action.

Qualification

· Proven experience as a Machine Operator, operating various machines including manual and CNC.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in the similar position
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
· Mechanical aptitude and a strong understanding of machine operations, tools, and materials used in the manufacturing processes.
· Knowledge of machine safety protocols and adherence to all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
· Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to learn and operate different machines as required.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during machine operations.
· Previous experience in the ornament stones manufacturing industry is a huge advantage.
