Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
· Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling & turning. · Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production. · Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company. · Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results. · Load and unload raw materials and equipment. · Record all machine related actions by completing production and quality logs, keeping detailed records for equipment and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Trade School Accreditation/High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
· Abide by company safety guidelines.
· Work productively and efficiently.
· Maintain housekeeping and 5S under the area of responsibility.
Experience
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a CNC Milling machine operator or CNC Machinist in Machining /Manufacturing Industry, preferably in Aerospace machining company.
· Proven experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
