Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of coatings on various substrates to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications.
- Utilize advanced non-destructive testing methods to assess coating thickness and integrity without damaging the surface.
- Document inspection results meticulously and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure timely compliance with coating application schedules and quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, ensuring a solid understanding of coating properties.
- Relevant certifications such as NACE Level 1 or SSPC certification to validate expertise in coating inspection.
- A minimum of 3 years of field experience in industrial coating inspection, particularly in oil and gas or marine environments.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (ISO, ASTM) and local regulations governing coating applications.
