The Coating Package Manager will be stationed at the vendor's coating facility and will be responsible for managing the full scope of coating package activities. This role ensures that all coating operations are executed according to project specifications, schedule, and quality requirements, while maintaining effective communication with the project team and all relevant disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate vendor coating operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Monitor production progress and schedule, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation actions to prevent delays.
- Act as the primary interface between the vendor and the project team (engineering, quality, planning, logistics, and HSE).
- Track and report daily production status, highlighting any deviations or potential impacts on the project schedule.
- Coordinate inspections, tests, and audits with quality and client representatives.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of coating activities, including NCRs and corrective actions if required.
- Support the resolution of technical or operational issues in collaboration with project engineering and vendor teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Background in pipeline coating operations (3LPE/3LPP, FBE, CWC).
- Strong knowledge of coating QA/QC processes and HSE standards.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.
- Previous vendor management or construction package management experience is an advantage.
