Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Operational Ownership: Take ownership of operational activities linked with dubizzle, i.e. utilisation, product changes, communication with clients, management, etc.
- Data Interpretation: Translate complex data sets into clear, concise reports and presentations to aid decision-making.
- Process Monitoring: Analyse and monitor our processes to provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Market & Competitor Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Surveys: Help conduct surveys for mapping the client universe.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide analytical support and ensure commercial strategies are data-driven.
- Excel Expertise: Create, manage, and optimise complex Excel models, including but not limited to VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros, and data visualisation techniques.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance against targets.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects to inform key business decisions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a commercial/business analyst or a data analysis role.
- Proven experience in conducting financial analysis and modelling.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages is preferred.
- Consulting or Tech background is a plus.
Knowledge:
- Decent understanding of business and financial principles, including profitability, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Ability to synthesise data into actionable insights with a clear understanding of business impact.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (advanced knowledge including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros, and data visualisation).
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
