Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Create strategic outreach plans to connect with and acquire new business partners for YouGov Sport
Identify potential clients and their decision makers through research and making proactive, out-bound reach-outs by phone, email, LinkedIn & networking
Secure sales & discovery meetings with qualified prospects and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
Synthesize data and align a potential client s needs with YouGov products/services
Draw on previous case studies, anecdotes and personal examples where data has been used to drive decision making in marketing & sponsorship.
Responsible for key new business areas (specific rights-holder, brand, media owner or agency sectors) and take ownership of all relevant outreach and opportunities in this space.
Management of key existing account relationships to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for account expansion across YouGov service offerings
Desired Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience in consumer insights or market research sales, ideally specifically within the sport or sponsorship industry
Sport media valuation, syndicated and custom consumer research knowledge
Proven success selling subscription services in a SaaS-based environment
Strong communicator and rapport builder, well-versed in active listening and a curiosity to find out the root behind consumer behaviours
An established history and understanding of using Salesforce to organise daily sales activity, sales pipeline projections and analyse personal sales performance
A passion for sports & sports business
