Roles & Responsibilities

A leading organization is seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Director to oversee and manage the sales function. This senior leadership role is crucial for developing and executing effective sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and leading business development initiatives. The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping the organization s future success and ensuring the achievement of commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy to foster business growth and expand market share.
  • Managing and mentoring the sales team to ensure high performance and target achievement.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customers and business stakeholders.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities while overseeing the development of strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to ensure the organization remains competitive.
  • Negotiating high-value contracts and agreements with key clients.
  • Regularly reporting to the executive team on sales performance, market developments, and progress on strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record as a Commercial Director or senior sales leader with experience driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • In-depth understanding of sales strategy, business development, and market analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions in a dynamic market environment.
  • Experience within the construction, manufacturing, or a related sector would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a results-oriented approach.
