Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a B2B client portfolio (food processing companies, processors, laboratories, brands).
  • Prospecting for new clients and identifying growth opportunities: R&D, product development.
  • preparing commercial offers: drafting quotes, negotiating rates and contractual conditions.
  • Ensure follow-up of samples: sending, testing, returns.
  • Collaborating closely with the R&D, Quality, Production and Logistics teams to guarantee technical feasibility and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify trends and anticipate developments.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences and industry events.
  • Achieve the revenue, margin and growth targets set by management.

  • Technical skills: Understanding of food ingredients, formulations, regulatory constraints (an advantage).
  • Sales skills: Negotiation, public speaking, closing, prospecting.
  • Development mindset: ability to identify long-term projects (R&D, innovation).
  • Personal qualities: rigor, autonomy, customer service skills, team spirit.
  • Tools: Excel, reporting tools.
  • Languages: French required; English preferred depending on market.
  • Mobility: Driver's license. 

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma: Bac +2 Bac +5 (Commerce, Marketing, Agri-food, Engineering, etc.).
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in B2B sales, ideally in the food ingredients or agri-food sector.
