Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Development / improve commercial strategies in line with the trend of marine and offshore project in Middle East, focusing on Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Take charge and execute commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs, conversions, and fabrications in Kingdom.
  • Establish new clients pool and carry out vendor registration process for all Marine and Offshore customers operating in KSA.
  • Follow up on all new clients to promote Supply Base capabilities and service support to bring in new revenue streams.
  • Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for PFMC.
  • Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
  • Carry out estimating and commercial invoicing in KSA.
  • Handle client management for PFMC and submission of work done reports.
  • Work with the PaxOcean Saudi Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations and determine when processes violate regulations.
  • To be able to assess risks and make recommendations to mitigate potential risks identified.
  • Provide functional and management support in the management of Change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.
  • Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the commercial Shipyard. (Strong grasp of Saudi Maritime Business a strong u>MUST/u> , Middle East Centric Preferred)
  • Conversant in Microsoft applications (Excel / Word)
  • Conversant in SAP Project Management
  • Conversant in Salesforce (Preferred)
  • Team management experience
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Good client management and customer service skills.
