Position Summary
As a member of the Culinary Team at W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction. Your main duties include preparing, cooking, and presenting food according to recipes and brand standards, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and supporting smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately.
Cook and prepare meals according to recipes and quality standards.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, stoves, and microwaves.
Test and monitor food quality and temperature.
Set up and clean workstations before and after shifts.
Serve food portions correctly and maintain presentation standards.
Sanitize kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and company policies.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or accidents to management.
Maintain professional appearance, punctuality, and confidentiality.
Foster positive teamwork and communication with colleagues.
Support the team in meeting quality goals and customer satisfaction targets.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Physical Requirements
Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Capable of moving and lifting items up to 25 pounds (11 kg) without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: At least 1 year of related culinary or kitchen experience.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License/Certification: Not required.
