Key Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating under the guidance of senior chefs
Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared and stored correctly before each service period
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in assigned work areas
Follow hotel policies and kitchen SOPs related to safety, food handling, and equipment usage
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Attend daily briefings, training sessions, and team meetings to stay updated on menu changes and operational goals
Report any maintenance, guest feedback, or quality issues promptly to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
Support special culinary projects, events, and banquets as needed
Maintain portion control and reduce food waste in line with cost and sustainability goals

Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant environment
Basic knowledge of international cuisines and food preparation techniques
Strong commitment to maintaining high culinary and hygiene standards
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
