Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with established recipes and brand standards
  • Maintain the highest levels of food hygiene and sanitation in accordance with HACCP and hotel regulations
  • Ensure mise en place is completed accurately and efficiently before each service period
  • Operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Support senior chefs in daily operations, food production, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Ensure stock rotation, proper labelling, and minimal waste
  • Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and respond positively to feedback
  • Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and kitchen meetings
  • Uphold the brand s luxury service standards and deliver consistently high-quality food

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

  • 1 2 years of kitchen experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training preferred
  • Knowledge in international cuisine is an advantage
  • Strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and kitchen organization
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good English communication skills; additional language skills are a plus
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
