Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food items as per recipes and standards.
  • Cook and present menu items accurately, maintaining flavor, texture, and portion control.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and stoves safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor food quality, temperature, and hygiene throughout the preparation process.
  • Set up, maintain, and clean assigned workstations before and after each shift.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with HACCP and hotel policies.
  • Support senior chefs in menu preparation, mise-en-place, and service operations.
  • Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing food supplies to maintain freshness.
  • Adhere to company and safety procedures while maintaining professional appearance.
  • Cooperate with team members to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
