Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food items as per recipes and standards.
- Cook and present menu items accurately, maintaining flavor, texture, and portion control.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and stoves safely and efficiently.
- Monitor food quality, temperature, and hygiene throughout the preparation process.
- Set up, maintain, and clean assigned workstations before and after each shift.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with HACCP and hotel policies.
- Support senior chefs in menu preparation, mise-en-place, and service operations.
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing food supplies to maintain freshness.
- Adhere to company and safety procedures while maintaining professional appearance.
- Cooperate with team members to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of culinary experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, hygiene, and portion control.
